Carin Jayne Casey, the oldest of several children, grew up in a middle-class Ohio community. In the midst of her parents’ marital issues, she and her siblings enjoyed many fun-filled childhood adventures. Her family moved from Ohio to rural West Virginia while she was a teenager –they lived on a mountain-side. Casey married her high-school sweetheart and bore two wonderful children. Revisiting her childhood, she encouraged her children to play imaginative games as they grew up. Her marriage failed, and she was eventually lured into a brief, violent relationship. Casey strives to bring awareness of potential dangers while promoting spiritual growth. She believes adults should encourage their young in healthy fun; children should know they’re safe from harsh punishments, and families should practice appropriate consequences, and forgiveness. 🌟 About Angela Brown 🌟 Angela Brown is a lifelong educator and minister with over 35 years of teaching experience, spanning from preschool through college. She has also taught the Bible to all ages since the age of 16. Angela holds degrees in Psychology, English Education, and Middle Eastern (Biblical) Studies, and in 2010, she was licensed and ordained as a minister and teacher of the Gospel. In 2008, Angela and her husband, Minister Moses T. Brown, founded Yeshua’s House, a ministry devoted to raising awareness and preventing domestic abuse. That same year, while teaching at Virginia State University, she launched Breaking the Silence, a student-led organization empowering students to speak out against abuse.
